Are you brand-new to teaching voice lessons and wondering where that #voicelessontechniquebook is? You know the one - the one that's just like the technique & lesson books that our friends teaching piano and violin get to use!
KEEP SEARCHING FRIEND 'cuz there ain't no such thing as a technique & lesson book for voice. Just doesn't exist (because: reasons. � ).
INSTEAD, here are three things to do/use to get started teaching voice (especially if you have a piano and/or violin and/or instrumental background and you're super-familiar with the ol' technique/lesson book system).
1️⃣☝️ - Consider using the The Royal Conservatory's syllabus for technical exercises and ear training benchmarks
2️⃣✌️ - Incorporate Full Voice Music's #workbook series for learning music fundamentals in a fun way (pssst: The Full Voice resources aren't *just* for kids!)
3️⃣� - If you haven't already, create an assessment protocol that includes discovering your student's "why" AND singing a familiar song or two (and maybe don't use scales as an assessment protocol ... )
