Sharing my work has me nauseous most days. What’s unnerving is the heart at work.
HEART TRANSMISSION you feel me?
This can leave me feeling bare, naked, afraid, and at times, empty, but what’s important for me is the follow-through. This involves failing too.

I realize now more than ever, make it happen.
Let it be. Don’t wait. Get out of the fucking way.
"Don’t push or force, but when you feel beat down, turn to We." I say ok, then it happens:
The weighted and reluctant breath leaves
I feel illuminated
The energy neither you nor I know takes the lead.

I’m more of a Poetic Thug if anything. At least that’s what I tell myself when I want to stop, in fear I may be rejected or misunderstood. Just because I don't care what others say about me doesn't mean it feels good when it don’t. Most days I simply remind myself, I am nothing.

This rehearsal was after a 9 hour ER visit.
When you're sick, you must take even more care of yourself. This can be challenging for someone who can still be self-destructing.
Sometimes sick is simply being mortal.

I've worn masks for years cuz they help me.
*the kinds seen, not hiding* I witness states without attaching. I feel deeply with (and without) a mask so I channel all, it's got nowhere to go 'cept through me. I regulate me. I soothe me. I give myself what I need to keep going so I may give freely.
I listen. I’m listening... This is where I find peace.
Sometimes it's coercion, other times I'm willing to rid me, permitting whatever it is, “Use me.”

I wrote this song in 2016. This rehearsal is from 2018. The ending is funny cuz it sucks. We both were off and laughed about it. That’s why you keep going. You make it right for your life. The final will be exciting to share because that means I finished it. That’s most important. The song. The music.
I’m deeply appreciative to those I’ve worked with.
They’re very talented.
Sometimes things need to be repeated.
