Inspired by a collection of poems of Cante Jondo (Deep Song) by Federico Garcia Lorca. Lorca perceived "to have duende" as a form of Dionysian inspiration related to anguish, mystery and death — an inspiration that particularly animates the artist who performs for the public, such as the musician, the dancer and the poet.
