Esta é uma canção que a minha mãe me cantava na minha infância e a única que aprendi em russo.
A minha mãe nasceu em Espanha, mas devido à Guerra Civil Espanhola com 4 anos foi exilada na União Soviética com a irmã e mais 2895 crianças. Durante 19 anos ficaram retidas, só regressando a Espanha em 1957.

This is a melody my mother used to sing during my childhood, and the only one I learned in russian.
My mother was born in Spain, but due to the Civil War, at 4 years old she, her sister, and 2895 children were exiled to the U.S.S.R. For 19 years they were retained there, coming back to Spain only in 1957.
