Everywhere all around the world children are making up songs in the moment. They are making up melody, they are making up words, or they taking a melody they know adding their own words to it.

Today I choose
To love myself

And yet as we grow up most people forget this flow of song, or feel judged or criticized for it, or feel that’s silly or not cool anymore. And so we stop.

I tried it the other way but I found it didn’t satisfy

Now over 40 years ago, I discovered the joy of spontaneous intuitive song making. A joy that is inside of me and then one that I can share with someone else. Someone that I sing a song for, that I create new song for in their presents and feeling connected to the energy.

I tried the other way but it left me feeling lonely
I tried the other way as long as I could

I can never write your song for you. What I do is I reflect an aspect, I reflect some dimension of you in this moment when I am creating a spontaneous song.

As I love myself and as I grow kinder

I am now making song portraits available online – either as a private song portrait or as a shared group song portrait where several people can receive songs over the course of an hour of time.
