Our Hands & Voices trainees were very honoured and excited to be asked to kick off the opening session of this year's ICSW conference at York University.

The International Conference on Social Work in Health and Mental Health is in its 9th year and provides delegates with ideas and inspiration about shaping the future for social work in health and mental health services in their own country.

Our trainees shared their thoughts on how singing and signing helps them feel better and also taught the audience some fab singing and signing.

A big thank you to the ICSW organisers for inviting our trainees along and to all of the ICSW delegates who came along and joined in our workshop. You were brilliant! We hope we left you warmed up and feeling good for the rest of the conference.
