Initally I wanted to create my own video to bring in more variety, more creativity, and more interest, but I thought I should at least give the drive on file a shot. After downloading the file off blackboard, I realized that I would be able to make this work. By watching all the videos and listening to all the tunes, I knew this would be a fun project to edit. I decided to choose the music from Kevin MacLeod titled deuces because it sounded like a dancing type of music, not exactly eletronic dance music, but jazz and classic type of vibe kind of music, it has some type of groovy atmosphere to it. By listening to this track I knew this song would fit well with all the videos I seen in the drive. I carefully observed the videos and selected all the clips that I believe would fit in with Kevin MacLeod's song. The video clips I selected were field work, flying feet, three dances, stayin_alive, and march dances. All of the video clips consist of people dancing and mainly displaying moving feet. It was very fitting to my eyes and I thought the titled track deuces in the background smooths out the clips in sequence. The sequence I chose to start with was the flying feet because it comes off very fast and I wanted the audience to get that fast pace scene right from the beginning of the clip. The second clip in sequence was the three men dancing to give the audience a wider range of dancers, following the video clip of ladies dancing forward along with other men. The last two clips in sequence I chose were the stayin alive clip and conclude with the field work clip. Ending with the field work clip I thought was appropriate as it pan left to right, then right to left as it camera films the people tapping on the ground in rhythm to the beats. Only one word really came to mind when I saw the entire clip from start to finish and that word is groovy.
