Song Description
Brave is the summary of so much learning that has taken place in Second Grade this quarter. This is what we focused on:
- Wellness: by singing the song Brave, students were able to talk about how to handle frustrations, how to help friends, how to show kindness;
- Responding to Music theory: identifying quarter notes, quarter rests, whole notes, half notes, how to identify the treble cleff and how to read music in standard notation (musical notes on the lines and on the spaces)
-Performing: working on skills to perform effectively to different groups of students at school;
-Connecting with the world around us, from our community;
At the end of our quarter, we did our Music Assessment and we had a special pizza celebration.
