This was a PRIDE collaboration I did with the Gateway Mall in Salt Lake City, UT in June 2019. A few months prior to this a series of hate-crimes took place against LGBTQ+ individuals, and businesses in Salt Lake City by visitors from out of town. SLC, UT is a very progressive and queer-friendly community–we were deeply hurt by this violence toward our own friends and family. I created this as a beacon of pride and hope for all LGBTQ+ for the month-long celebration of pride that takes place here.

Design inspired by the Art-Deco architecture of the Chrysler building.
