The reason behind choosing Mr. Poledouris' work is because Gate is similar to John McTiernan's works such as of Predator, Die Hard and other films. Gate has this high-energy action-adventure vibe like in The Hunt for Red October that Mr. Poledouris had scored which helped inspire me to make this project.
