We recently had a phone call from a housebound lady living outside Kilconly in rural county Galway. She had read about our online sessions in a local newspaper delivered by her neighbour and was eager to take part. However, while she had a laptop, the internet hasn’t yet reached her home where she lives alone. That didn’t stop her enterprising nature and she managed to commandeer a USB which she duly posted to us. During last Friday's online music session, Mick Brown gave her a special ‘shout-out’ and also sang her favourite song, ‘Cherry Trees’ by John Spillane. The trusty USB is currently en-route back from Clarinbridge to Kilconly. Here is a recording of Mick’s version of ‘Cherry Trees’ from last Friday.
