Welcome to the first of its kind, but definitely not the last. Sean Nordquist (Exec. Director of the Florida Brewer's Guild) got together with Brew Hub's CT Shoen and Crooked Thumb's Jason Toft to create something very unique to the Florida beer community. Anyone that's friends with Toft knows his love, and sometimes comedic posts online, for Africa by Toto (in which this ale is named after)...it was only in time that he would create a beer influenced by the song. The three of them couldn't do it alone...oh no, Concord Coffee put in their coffee into the mix, and What Ales Ya Podcast brought their passion for music and brewing to sing along and drink good beer. Why is it called 12:30 Flight? Watch the video and cover your ears, they ALL sing!

The Director's Series will be an on going collaboration series that the Florida Brewers Guild will be bringing out throughout the year. Be on the look out for more crazy themed beers that Sean will be coming up with.
