Domain (2016) was my group ARCOS’ first experiment with transmedia performance. While the piece incorporated a theatrical script, interactive installation, online chapters, and live and recorded video projections created with Eliot Gray Fisher, this excerpt represents the start of my recent choreographic meditations taking the human body not only as medium but primary theme—a practice which will be central to the proposed project examining the body itself as a site of conflict. Performers include Alexa Capareda, Erica Gionfriddo, Katie Hopkins, Alyssa Johnson, Hailley Laurèn, Taryn Lavery, Felicia McBride, Clay Moore, Sarah Navarrete, and Connor Timpe, with lighting by Scott Vandenberg and music by Eliot Gray Fisher and Brandon Guerra.
