Darcy McCrae is a painter based in the beautiful hinterland of Northern NSW. A self-taught painter, Darcy works using predominantly with acrylics on canvas and linen, creating bold artworks in a lo-fi naive style. Painting classic subjects such as still life and portraits, his bold mark-making and tendency to through the rules of painting out the window, result in works that are honest and raw.
