The first dance piece for this Buddhist order, a Chan Meditation Dance, for Fo Guang Shan, an international Chinese Buddhist monastic order based in Taiwan that practices humanistic buddhism. I choreographed this in the spring of 2019 after Venerable Youheng and Abbess Chuehlin requested I create the work.
