This was a sequence I did during the 4th season of "Battlestar Galactica." I felt this pivotal scene, as scripted, was a little short (less than a dozen shots) and needed more screen time to sell the epic battle taking place. I created this expanded previs version to pitch my concept.
It also includes a rework of the scripted skydive scene (originally both characters engaged in a gun fight while wearing parachutes; I thought hand to hand combat during freefall might be more exciting).
I added dialog, music and sound effects to better explain the action and create a more enticing pitch.
Ultimately, the producers liked this rework and patterned the final episode after it.
