Celebrating Bastille day, July 14th 2020 from Confolens,16500 . The small town of Confolens was one of the few to celebrate Bastille day this year during the crazy times of Covid19. A good crowd was in attendance and enjoyed the free music and incredible fire works from the two bridges and around the town. The crowd was incredible and followed all of the requirements in place.The town square and PMU saw a good crowd enjoying food and a local band called , Cargo. The Asiatique restaurant had entertainment by Chris Kearns along with the eclectic good food. Across the river at the Font Erics Bistro and bar had good food and entertainment by Samphire Salicorne [guest David Briane] The evening ended with an incredible fire works display. Amongst all the noise and lights there was a really strong feeling of hope , love and strong community. Thank you to the People of Confolens and the Marie.. Heres to Next year. Sooty
