Filmed during the first English lockdown, 'Baby X' combines short fragments from UK government speeches with footage of the heavily pregnant filmmaker. As the government continually placed business interests before public health, it shows the anxiety of being pregnant in the UK in 2020.
Part 1 of a trilogy of short experimental films that explore having a baby in a pandemic.
