This video is the result of our second free Rockstars class of the year - kids sign up, learn a song, practice for a week and then send in their in-family concert via video to get their diploma. We then turn the family videos into short little treasurable moments we share with the rest of the Loog Community.

Our previous attempt was with "We Are Going to Be Friends" by The White Stripes (which you can find here: vimeo.com/560554809). This time around, the video -and song- has a whole different meaning.

It was a good year for Loog. When so many were forced out of work, lost so much and even lost loved ones, here we are: healthy, working, still standing. No it wasn’t easy, and with the shipping problems we had last week it would be fair to say that in many ways we failed. But if 2020 taught us anything, is that there are important things, and then there are other things that at least can be fixed. As time comes to look back and reflect on such a unique and strange year... boy, what a ride it’s been: Loog Fest, free online lessons, STEAM & Music workshops, virtual summer camps, new app, new electric guitars... We did so much, we learned so much, and we helped fill so many homes with music. And laughter, and companionship and confidence and happiness.

Thank you to everyone who let us join them for the ride - we'll be forever grateful for allowing us to be a part of your kids’ development and life.

And to everyone who participated in this video: thanks for being so awesome and coming together to do something nice during these difficult times. You really do rock.
