Mustafa Ghazi and his son Suleiman are leaders of the Grey Wolves, a well-known Turkish organization. Mustafa Ghazi devoted all his life to nationalistic and religious ideas, but one day, all of a sudden, he starts suspecting that he is an Armenian.
What arouses his suspicion is a lullaby, whose sounds have left an imprint on his mind since childhood. However, he could never figure out where that music came from. Accidentally hearing the Armenian lullaby, Mustafa is overwhelmed with suspicion.
Willing to uncover the story of his life, Mustafa arrives in his hometown Kars. Being one of the leaders of the Grey Wolves organization, he lived all his life avenging his parents’ death. Nevertheless, one letter totally changes his opinion on the past events, leaving the man and his entire family perplexed: what to do and how to evaluate the life lived?
The narrative of the film is depicted through Mustafa’s younger son Edem who writes the story of his family in Yerevan.
