Amber wrote this song 10 years ago (2010) in dedication to her Mum and Dad, both Rural Fire Service (RFS) volunteers in the South Burnett, North Coast region, Queensland.

Sadly, Amber's father passed away at an RFS community event held in Nanango 8 years ago where his wife Tracy, Amber’s mother, was to provide a bushfire awareness talk. His sudden passing devastated family members, his fellow firefighting crew, work colleagues, his mates and the community of Nanango.

Amber, a volunteer firefighter herself, joined the RFS some 12 years ago when she turned 16, and wanted to pay tribute to her fellow Australian firies through her song "Fire Season Again", which she sings against the backdrop of the aftermath of a fire that over 30 local crews attended in November last year on Schellbachs Road, Kingaroy.

Amber's daughter, Mikaylah, who you will see in the video, wants to grow up to become a fire fighter just like her mother, her father, her grandparents and her uncle. Amber and her family will continue to carry on her father’s legacy and love for the service.
