Amalgama Duo
It is the result of more than 10 years of collaborative work of Choreographer Daniel Fetecua and Composer Pablo Mayor. First working in their previous project Amalgama, a larger format with musicians and dances, these two artists explore the possibilities of contemporary choreography and original music based on the traditions of their native country Colombia.
The main element in this new version is improvisation, dancing and playing as a Duet. Base in rhythms as Bambuco, currulao, Joropo and Chande; Daniel and Pablo flow with the moment and interact with each other on the spot. Every show is a new possibility a new dimension within the art of music and dance giving the audience the opportunity to be with them in the unique performance.
