#PlayTheCity is a series where I sample countries, regions, cities and their neighbourhoods to create music.
The sounds sampled at the site are the only musical instruments used in the video.
Of course, there is a lot of post-production and digital processing like Pitch Shift among others.
The idea behind PlayTheCity is to create my AudioVisual Sample Library, which later will be used in the composition of the tracks I play live. This video is a very raw approach to the composition, an exercise of how the samples can work together.
A more refined version of the track is seen in the live version.
