The enchanting euphony of Kelsey Lu's voice healed me in December in tandem with her words that mended the aches my body was undergoing. In a spark of events, she was invited into my life once more, serving as a reminder that we ache together. This is a sacred corner in my room; the alter which holds cherished pieces of my existence rests behind me. My bed undone, my bookshelf too empty, the postcards and paintings serving as echos from museums that have imprinted on my soul. The Georgia O'Keeffe is the stand out in my eyes. My earbuds are in, as it is more intimate that way. My laptop is the source of music that fuels my practice. This is not complete, and never will be. It is an intimation into a process that is almost always behind closed doors. It is a play of shadows, light, and a spirit that tries to soar in a quarantined corner.
