This short film has the aim of showing the mundane and common things we do in our daily lives, hopefully in a way that highlights its ridiculousness or repetition. It’s also centred around how our lives revolve around the time, like clockwork. I’ve used many close-up shots in this film, having been inspired by the photography of Martin Parr and its penetrating documentation of our modern society. I also experimented with adding adjustment layers to the film to increase the vibrance and exposure of the shots, to make the colours seem heightened.
