Late '60s attempt at making a modern-day vampire film on the ridiculously small budget of $64,000. The plot is a bit muddled and the lack of resources shows. Nevertheless it has its moments, and over the years it's attracted a cult following. Initially released in 1970 and re-released in 2000.TRIVIA: This film began shooting as a soft core porno with the title "The Loves of Count Iorga, Vampire!" Early on it was switched to straight horror, and the Iorga was changed to Yorga.
CAST NOTE: Michael Macready (Mike Thompson) is the son of noted character actor George Macready who narrates parts of this film.
