One of the outstanding films of 1945.CAST NOTE: Margaret Rutherford, who plays the medium Madame Arcati, was herself a dedicated spiritualist in private life. She won a well-deserved best supporting actress oscar for "The VIPs" (1963) an otherwise dreadful film.
