(Part 3 of 3) Highlights from "Olga's Girls" (1964) directed by Joseph P. Mawra. This film, and its sequel "Olga's House of Shame", are the Rosetta Stone of "roughie" sexploitation in the '60s, as well as the fetish film industry that came of age in the '80s. For the first time in a feature film, albeit an underground grindhouse flick, kinky S&M practices (bondage, whipping, spanking, breast torment, etc.) were openly displayed as the main attraction.

Essentially, writer/producer George Weiss took the fetish/bondage stag films of Irving Klaw (many featuring Bettie Page) and expanded them into feature length films with very little plot. Weiss is best known for producing Ed Wood's "Glen or Glenda?" He added risque fetishistic bondage and whipping scenes to Wood's dream sequence (also posted at this site).

The first of Olga's captives seen here is played by Darlene Bennett. She appeared in many short subject films, nudie-cuties and exploitation movies such as "Rent-a-Girl" and "Bad Girls Go to Hell." Her short film "60s Topless Dancers" is also in this archive.

William L. Rose, the cinematographer, went on to direct several roughie films with whipping and spanking scenes such as Rent-a-Girl (1965), Pamela, Pamela you are... (1968), and The Girl in Room 2a (1973).
