My final short film of my first year is about the effects of parentification of children in single parent, working class households.

This film reveals the rising conflicts between two brothers as the younger brother enters his adolescent years and begins to rebel against his older brother’s authority. His identity as a parental figure is challenged throughout the film until heightened tensions explode...

This was such a fun project to work on and I’m glad I was given the opportunity to tell a personal story that I think everyone with siblings can relate to. Also, superrrrr grateful for everyone who helped bring it all together and supported me through it all!
