Yesterday we had a high pressure ridge in over the Garden Route, bringing some overcast conditions, ESE wind and light rain. I sailed yesterday in the rain with a 7.8 and Superlightwind and had a fun session, despite the rain.
The overcast conditions continued today and the wind remained ESE and a bit cranky at Swartvlei at 15-22kts.
Photi, Ted and I went out at Pine Lake Marina and I had a blast out there on my RRD XFire 114 and Simmer SCR 7.0. It was choppy, but I did manage a few 29kt runs.
