A boy was riding his bike past a restaurant and stopped when he read a sign that advertised fat-free French fries.

“That sounds great,” said the health-conscious boy. He locked up his bike and went in and ordered some.

He watched as the cook pulled a basket of fries from the fryer. The potatoes were dripping with oil when the cook put them into the container.

“Wait a minute,” the boy said. “Those don’t look fat-free.”

“Sure they are,” the cook said. “We charge only for the potatoes. The fat is free!”

Oh my goodness, the only thing really free is our freedom to choose. When it comes to what we put in our bodies, we are free to choose. Well, at least we were. Despite that being a threat currently, remember that when it comes to what we take in with our eyes and ears, we are free to choose. What will you choose today to become a better you?
