It reminds me to step back and appreciate, to have a sense of humor when I don’t feel like I’ve accomplished enough, or didn’t get something I had (mistakenly) tied to my own self worth.

In a year full of lost opportunities, grief, and tragedy, this song reminds me of all there is to appreciate and be grateful for, of all the new opportunities that sprang up and inspired me, of how lucky I feel to be alive and how motivated I am to help others around me to flourish.

It was an honor to perform this piece for my alma mater @georgetownprep ‘s Virtual Gala this past weekend, and I wanted to share it with all of you here on the interwebs☺️.
