The Rink is a horror short with a love story at its center, and dark comedy sprinkled throughout. The story opens at a roller rink in the dead of night, following two young women, Lo and Mae. We see Lo in the nervous process of asking Mae something important. Looming around them in the roller rink, are a strange cast of characters that we ascertain are Lo’s compadres. At the center of this group is an older man named Bill, who seems to have power among them, and a young woman named Tess, who is eerily skating the rink alone.

As the dialogue advances, it becomes clear that Lo is proposing to Mae, but not in the way that you might expect. Lo narrows in on her “big question,” but the process is interrupted. This is when the shit hits the fan...

What shit? And what fan? You'll just have to wait and see the mayhem unfold.
