This one took a while, but I wanted to make a video of this song that was better than the crummy slideshow version I created back in March 2013. It's funny too, the girl in this film reminds me of one I actually knew. Not in 1967 ... but 12 years later when this song became a frequently requested oldie. A real fun girl who knew me on sight better than I knew myself. Anyway, this had been an old favorite of mine and one of hers, so it was destined to be again in the summer of '79.
"Little Bit O' Soul" reached #2 on Cash Box on July 8, 1967, losing out for the top slot to "Windy" by The Association.
