Logline: Sunny Days is half-hour, single-camera comedy similar in tone to The Wonder Years. Set in 1969, this is the story of a Puerto Rican family trying to achieve the American Dream, seen through the eyes of Sonia Manzano, a 15-year-old Puerto Rican girl, growing up in the colorful and tumultuous South Bronx. The show follows Sonia as she emerges as “the fixer” of her loud, dysfunctional family as she drags them kicking and screaming into a new era -- where everything is changing -- even the dreams she has for herself.
