I tossed this together one afternoon trying to get the kids interested. Not much luck but it progressed and I spent a week on edits. This is still a rough version, but I have moved on to other things so it will not get more editing for a while. I have the Princess and her ship bridge and some better starship designs and characters already sketched and a scene laid out for Princess to rescue her Dad.

I have studied animation and film for 40 years as a novel interest, and with all the available tools I wanted in the 1990's so I decided to have some fun.

I left the edges showing so viewers can see what I did for the most part, and the glare from the clear plastic sheets, blue tape,etc. a student of film might make a list of film technologies I employed. Most of it is just camera motions and zooming but I did animate the beam attack and the jet exhaust for the crash landing at the end. All art is my marker work and the landscapes are from my yard. However, Daphne noticed the black back ground and offered her unicorn in space backback for a star nova which I used afterwards.

I have a huge story line already created about the Slabs in Space and their backstory. I will make a follow up I promise...
