"We collected parts from the cars that have been involved in accidents and transformed them into unique artworks. Hundred of pieces such as steering wheels, suspension, tires, side doors, inside units, small parts of engines, exhaust pipes, broken windows and many more, came together to create the artworks."

Renault BlackBox is a video project inspired by the works of Tim Noble and Sue Webster.
By creating these artworks, we were able to reflect the messages of the drivers which is the main reason behind the accidents.

This is a video I shot and edited while we were prepping and brainstorming for this project.
The process was fun but challenging. Luckily; I had the best sculptor with me, Atakan Aydın from Tiriska Tasarim.

The kind of materials we found on car repair shop kind of dictated what we could do with the sculptures.

I remember loving and hating the process. We kind of knew where we could go but we weren't certain or at least, I wasn't certain about the outcome. Thus enabled me to go with the flow and believe in my instincts and the universe.

Documenting your work as you go along helps you in so many ways. What we do is a highly creative process and documenting the work enable you to evaluate yourself as an artist and filmmaker.
