Femme politics is about reclaiming and revaluing what has previously been discarded and dismissed for being feminine. To strategically employ softness – vulnerability, caring, emotions, earnestness - as contrast to hardness, is to raise political awareness about the social structures that enable and perpetuate the (neo)liberal myth that independence, and being un-attached and un-affected, equals strength.
