A blast from the past featuring the late Mr. Hugh Downs. This was for the International Institute for Species Exploration, produced by Media Alchemy and Dr. Quentin Wheeler, the head of the institute. Quentin had tried to get this message about the biodiversity crisis out for years, but it had been ignored by his colleagues. We took a different approach with this video, talking about the same facts but doing it with a bit of comedy. Hugh Downs provided the voice over for this show and was a delight to work with. His generosity, charm, and brilliance made this a joy to work on.
