I never was accepted to film school, for reasons this short may very well make clear, but despite that, by graduation I had set my mind on creating a "thesis film" that would show 'em wrong. When applying to film school in the past, I had always submitted childish films that punched way higher than they should have. But two rounds of rejections taught me something valuable. I needed to create a story based on my own unique point of view. It had to personal and real. So I vowed that no longer would I make asinine Quentin Tarantino spoofs like every other middle class white-male filmmaker wannabe. Instead I would make........

.......an asinine Sergio Leone spoof. One that was full of childish humor and punched way higher than it should have. But this time I had found my own personal story: booze. It was college so pretty much self-explanatory, right? With little more than that inspiration and well pretty much no other resources at my disposal, I set out to create an epic period piece, a story for the ages. And boy did it all pay off when I got that laurel: Official Selection (Online Monthly Edition) of the Miami Independent Film Festival. Finally proof that I really did know how to fill out an application form correctly. Take that FSU film school!
