Mr Ian Marchant performs what is known as Gentleman Juggling. Gentleman juggling dates from the early 1900’s and uses everyday items such as hats, walking sticks, crockery and spoons. Mr Ian Marchant uses objects such as these to create amazing feats of dexterity and unique turns.
He offers a variety of different shows including:
Cabaret: Mr Marchant is comfortable performing on cabaret stages, in theatres, aboard cruise ships, even in your front room and can perform either to music or as a verbal act with comedy patter.
Street Show: Dressed for Dinner” is Mr Marchant’s outdoor spectacle. This is a madcap variety show, using gentleman juggling, physical comedy and mime.
The Art of Plate Spinning: Spinning nine plates at once, he will have you on the edge of your seat with excitement. This fast paced routine is perfect for any occasion, be it an after dinner cabaret, gala performance, TV show or conference. If the plate spinning is not enough for you, don”t fret, there will be many other clever feats and tricks performed along the way.
One of a handful of performers to still be performing plate spinning today, he is one of the most sort after in the UK.
Walkabout: Mr Marchant can also perform many of his tricks and turns as a mix and mingle performer.
