Monster Fight

During the final semester of my course, you are expected to come up with a brief for an animation project that you will undergo with the supervision of one of your tutors.

I chose to do two animated sequences; this one being the first. In my proposal for the project, I said I would create a short creature fight between 2 anatomically different monsters. One being a bipedal lizard and the other being a quadruped hydra.

This video is the final result of that project, and it took me just over a month to complete.

When I look back on this piece now, I really wish I'd done a lot of things different but I'm also really proud of what I managed to achieve during this time.

This was a huge passion project for me as I've always had a love for cool monster action moments in movies ever since I was young, so being able to make something similar was really fun.

I was also really fortunate to have some really constructive feedback throughout the process of making this fight scene from some amazingly talented people. So I want to give a massive thank you to everyone who so kindly offered to help me!
