A short film shot in The New Forest summer 2020.

Synopsis: A group of friends celebrate the easing of the first UK lockdown with a get together in their local woods. Before long, however, they start to get sinister messages, and the fun of their new found freedom rapidly begins to evaporate.

When work dried up in lockdown, it was a perfect opportunity to throw our energies into a passion project. Picnic was written, cast, and prepped in two months, and shot over two days on zero budget. Everyone involved gave up their time.
