Steamboat Bill, Jr. sound design project. By adding audio and sound effects, it enhances the comedy silent film filmed in 1928 to another level of vivid and lifelike. Although adding sounds will limit the audience’s imaginations of what the sound would be, this will clearly state and indicate what I would like to express in the film. I believe that the sounds I add will suggest a more intense mood for the audiences, it is because there will be several sounds happening in the same time as the scene requires it and there are lots of things happening in the film at the same time. Other than that, I do believe that the add-on sounds will set a moderate to fast pace for the film and things are happening continuously.
