I really didn’t know what I wanted to do for this project until a couple of days ago. I just couldn’t come up with anything, and I knew I didn’t want to do Project 5 because my one friend that could play music is in Augusta and I’m in Newnan, and we’re all social distancing. So I pulled up a list of movies that I liked, and I finally picked a scene from Matilda because Danny DeVito’s the man and he really made a great movie when he made Matilda.
For the technical aspects of the project, I used Freesound and I recorded some of my own sounds. I think it was definitely an adjustment switching from Logic Pro X to Adobe Audition, but it did get the job done, I just think that overall, the project could have been longer. However, I’ll make something longer for the final project, for right now, I just had fun putting together this scene. Happy social distancing everyone!!
