My name is Jacinda Richards, and I'm the Founder and CEO of L2R dance. And my three listicles, chaotic, energetic, and emotional. L2R to me is a very big part of my life. I'm going to cry. I can't do this.

They weren't as happy as you, and could do it. Oh, so good. What would it be?

If L2R was a flavor it would be chili and or smokey paprika.

Let me go. I don't know why I said that. Ah, okay. If L2R was a flavor, it would be chili, spicy, hot. If L2R was a person, I would say to them, "Come and dance with us. You're with friends, you're with family, and move your body. Get out of your head, and into your body." If L2R was a person, I would say, "Come and dance with us. Come and have fun. Get out of your head and into your body." L2R is important because it makes dance and the Arts accessible to people who may not have opportunity to access them. It's a safe space for people to dance and move, and embrace their individuality.

The reason I keep doing L2R is because I keep seeing the growth, and the demand for L2R. And I think seeing the young people come up through the programs and becoming emerging artists, and then want to give back to a community that they've essentially come up through the ranks for. So that's really rewarding, just seeing the growth and development of humans. I think the most important value for me is fun, because if something isn't fun, then people don't want to be a part of it. So I think L2R at its very heart is, it's a fun dance space and something that's fun to be a part of. L2R does dance.

Duh.

Okay, I'll elaborate. L2R does a lot. Obviously, we provide free dance programs across Melbourne's West. We run emerging artists programs. We have a fee for service, where we're out and about in community spreading good vibes. We create a family, and we create a community. L2R stands for limbs to rhythms. So, L2R does, at its heart, free dance programs across Melbourne's West. But now we're expanding and we're doing emerging artists programs, we're working with organizations and collaborating to make Art accessible, and we have our fee for service. So you'll see us out and about in community spreading good vibes across Melbourne and Australia, and the globe.

That's a really good question. I think we would like to move beyond the West. And I'd like to see young people that have come up through the organization being employed by L2R, or sitting on the board. But yeah, I think beyond the West, having a space in another part of Melbourne, or potentially interstate. And I'd really like to see our fee for service grow, and go to the next level, just to give our artists some really epic and amazing opportunities. What I think L2R does really, really well is to foster community, community building. And through that process, we allow young people to step up, take on leadership roles and be the best version of themselves.
