“For years I have obsessively collected plastic materials and product containers that we consume everyday and that we throw into the garbage without looking at them, without any reflection. So i have built a huge archive of containers, roasted chickens, earpads, medication blister packs, beverage and cleaning products bottles, tecnopor little cups, egg cartons, my daughter’s toys: an unlimited amount of plastic. From this elements i create ceramic sculptures which portrait the industrial, globalized and technological world we live in. I think i’m trying to reveal a critical view of the impact of the trash we produce and how we depredate our natural environment. In my work i talk about my anxieties linked to bad production policies and exaggerated consumerism, and for the lack of recycling. I realize that my studio its the only place where i can calm my anxiety, through the use of humor and irony in my work.”
