This is Jacob. He is from Australia and took part in our Coastal Conservation Internship, based in Phang Nga, Thailand.
Unlike many of our participants, Jacob decided on this program because he thought it would be the most practical experience he could get, in a subject he had never done before; proving you don't need any prior knowledge, experience or skills to take part in GVI programs.
Jacob explains how he participated in marine ecology, wildlife surveys and data collection which he found to be very fun and rewarding, as well as a chance to make lots of good friends.
