I purchased my first kite in more than 55 years and it makes me smile. The Into The Wind UltraFoil 30 Kite is everything that is written about it. Due to the mandated beach closures it took me a few weeks to get it airborne. I've flown it in a 5 Kt breeze and in 15 kts of wind. Three flags and a spinner are no problem with this foil. The stronger the wind the higher the line angle. In the 15 Kt situation it required a hand over hand take down with a heavy pair of sailing gloves. I'm using a thousand feet of 300# dacron and a hand crank wheel when I fly.
This is not for beginners or the timid kite flier. Its fun to walk the beach with a line full of laundry or tie it down and mark your location. Use gloves when you fly and take care. Enjoy!
