This lovely six and a half year old German Shepherd has been at the shelter for over two years. It’s time for her to know what a real home is like. We would say Foxy loves tennis balls but love isn’t a strong enough word. As soon as her leash is unclipped and a tennis ball is thrown, Foxy runs like the wind and could do so for hours. She is an endless ball of fun and affection. She would make a terrific hiking partner but is just as happy to relax on the couch if you prefer. Foxy likes to cuddle with her people and enjoys just hanging on her bed with a yummy chew treat . Foxy would like to be your one and only and needs a home without dogs or cats in it. She is a rather energetic lady, so if there are kids at home, they should be older. Foxy would prefer a fenced in yard so she can play ball and run until her heart is content. Foxy came to us in a cruelty case and has never known a real home. She would make a loving addition to a family hoping to rescue a beautiful and deserving older dog. Like all the animals available for adoption at the New Hampshire SPCA, Foxy is spayed, micro-chipped and up to date on all her shots.
